St. Colmcille's Church, Swords
Most people are prepared for Confirmation as part of their Primary School education, with the parish operating the "Faith Friends Programme" in addition to the preparation carried out in the school. Confirmation is a very significant step in an individuals passage into and joining of our Christian community.
A new format in the application of this Sacrament is now in place to allow the children, parents, and guardians to participate more fully in preparing for Confirmation.
In preparation for the sacrament, each child will celebrate a Commitment Ceremony to help them become more aware of their commitment as Christian.
We ask that all parents and guardians encourage and support their children in their preparation activities, and in fulfilling the promises that they make.

Sunday 9th October @ 1.15pm St Colmcille's BNS in St Colmcille's Church
Sunday 16th October @ 1.15pm Scoil and Duinninigh in St Colmcille's Church
Sunday 23rd October @ 12 noon Holywell ETNS in Drynam Church
Enrolment for Confirmation will take place on the above dates only. Please bring completed registration form and Baptism certificate - (if not Baptised in St Colmcille's or Drynam) on enrolment date.

Friday 24th March @ 11.00am St Colmcille's GNS in St Colmcille's Church
Friday 24th March @ 1.00pm St Colmcille's BNS in St Colmcille's Church
Friday 24th March @ 3.00pm Holywell ETNS in Drynam Church
Ceremony of Light will take place before the Confirmation ceremony
